Glass vases are extremely versatile and do not necessarily need to be used just for fresh cut flowers. Vases placed around the home using different creative ideas can enhance and off set your surrounding décor in so many ways which will just add that little extra personal touch.
A clear glass vase which maybe too large for fresh cut flowers can still be used for flowers if you add marbles to the vase or you could also add scrunched up clear plastic at the bottom and around the sides and just anchor the flower stem between the plastic or marbles this arrangement will make a definite statement in an entrance hall or on a dining table.
For the smaller vases you can apply the same technique but only this time use one floating flower bloom. Never throw your unwanted vases out as all you need do is become a little creative and there will always be a lonely spot where the vase can be placed. A home is not a home without candles. Candles always warm up the atmosphere and give the home an extra sense of comfort.
One could paint designs onto the glass vases and use them as candle holders all you need do is add some sand or small coloured pebbles to the bottom and place the candle on top. Use the vases for floating candles especially on a dinner table or in the bathroom and add a few drops of essence to the water which will add a little romance.
